Eyelashes

To simply said lash are one of the hairs that grow at the edge of the eyelid. Eyelashes are gives to protect the eyes from debris. The Greek word eyelash is ‘’Blephairs”. This word is often used as a root in biological terms.


Human Lashes

If the eye lashes pulled out, it takes about seven to eight weeks to grow.  The color of lashes tends to be dark on someone with dark hair and lighter on someone with lighter hair.

EyeLashes-

A woman in 1933 permanently dyed her eyelashes. For this she was use paraphenylenediamine. This chemical is extremely toxic to the body as dyeing agent. At that time cosmetics was not regulated by the Food & Drugs Administration. So the danger of paraphenylenediamine was unknown. There was some kind of product also which made people blind. After that in 1938 Congress granted the FDA the right to regulate the cosmetics.

As a sign of femininity long eye lashes are considered in many cultures. Moreover some women seek to enhance their eye lash length artificially using extensions. Hadza (Ethnic group-North Central Tanzanian) women are known to trim their own eyelashes.
As far back as the Bronze Age Kohl has been worn to protect and enhance lashes.  An Ancient period of Egyptian wears it to obey the royalty and protect their eyes from sand, dust and bugs.

In modern time makeup artist added some extra to emphasize the eyes. Mascara, Eyeliner, Eye putty (eyelid glue) is obsessive looks of 21 centuries. One more different thing is using that is eyelash curler or mascara shields. Its also termed as mascara guard or helper of eye makeup.
To get more modern FDA established a Drug to make growth of eyelashes within 16 weeks.

EyeLashes Extension 

History- In 1916 the use of false eyelashes began when director D.W. Griffth was making film Intolerance. Director wants eyelashes of her actress, that have brushed her cheeks and to make eyes shine larger than life. With help of local wig maker the first eyelashes was made of human hair woven through fine gauze. After long year later Korea created the single lash technique in 2004. That introduces a new way on applying false lashes. Before gaining popularities the product was first launched in Vietnam.
There is number of designed to add length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes. Eye lashes are separated into two types- Temporary and Semi-permanent. There also require to obey the medical way of enhancing eyelashes.

 

Variety of EyeLashes

False temporary lashes are designed to be worn for short period that a day or less. It could be made with human hair or with synthetic materials. The best, great quality synthetic is made with Keraspecific fibre. It is almost feel and behave like human hair. They are not designed to be worn in time of sleeping, showering or swimming. There is glue which designed specifically for temporary lashes. Permanent lashes also known as eyelashes extensions and lashes are attached with stronger adhesive.

Eye Lashes Curler 

To being wider and brighter curling lashes are great. Through warm air from blow-dryer on the mascara curler for 3-5 seconds to warm it up before curling lashes.  It’s a myth to curl lashes before apply mascara. Touch it first to make sure it’s not too hot. After the application of mascara you can go for curl also but make sure the mascara is dry first. 


Keep Lashes away from Clumping- 
There are some lash comb which is simply fussy. But makeup artist make it easy with their great invention and keep lashes glob- free. To use lash comb and make it properly separated, first apply mascara at the lash base then wiggle the lash comb through to the tips of lashes. By removing excess mascara from the wand through wipe wand on tissue, this eliminates the clumping. Mascara wand. Old mascara wand can be recycling if you don’t want to spoil it.  When mascara is over then clean the wand in a cap full of eye makeup remover after that wash with soap and dry it. Whenever wash makeup tools then keep it clean by washing.
