Types of Foundation Makeup

 There are three category Foundation are available-: Liquid Foundation, Cream Foundation, Powder Foundation. These are basic categories foundation.

 Liquid foundations

  Very popular choice for the ladies. They are so light weight and easy to applicable on the skin.

These are found in a number of shades along with oil based & water based formulas, different skin prefers different types. As a thick liquid packed bottles of liquid makeup are available.

Most skin types are suited due to well blend while capturing moisture with the skin.

Dry skin-  

Dry skin people should go with oil based liquid foundation. Oil base liquid foundations are thick and greasy. That’s why it offers smoothness with perfect blend and leaving moist skin surface.

Oily Skin- 

Oil base liquid foundation must be avoid by oily types skin, people of these category should go with water based liquid foundation. Silicon oil remain in water based foundation so for this easy and perfect application can be possible with shiny face.

Normal / Combination Skin- Normal skin person should pick water based liquid foundation. Water based foundation offer lighter coverage than oily blend base foundation.

Cream Foundation

Cream foundation provides heavier coverage and more moisture to the skin than any other foundation, due to thick texture. Cream foundation contain oil and are thick and creamy. These cream are available in stick, compact as well as in tube forms.

Better coverage in blemishes and scars with glossy touch and better texture.

Recommended for acne and Rosacea

 Skin suits- Normal and dry skin is preferable for cream foundation. Ladies with oily skin should stay away from this foundation.

 Extra Dry Skin- People with too much drier skin cream foundation is lot best for those. Moisturizing properties with thick and creamy foundation provides maximum coverage to the skin. It also adds a shine to the face that stays for long and leave skin hydrated.

Cake/Stick Foundation
These foundations are available in solids form. It is the foundation provides quickly dry appearance. So normal and dry should stay away from these foundations. For dry skin it may leaves blotchy.

For oily skin- Cake or stick foundations appear best on an oily skin. After drying the cake makeup skin look so uniform.

 

Powder Foundation

As well as pressed powder form Powder foundation are found in loose powder form. In these form there are no moisture so these are very dry.

Powder foundation is very suitable for those who do not generally apply makeup

These forms of makeup are very easier to use and provides a natural look. It is also used to fix the makeup.

Loose Powder Foundation- These actually use to fix the foundation and attach a finishing touch to it. They are very convenient to use. One requires just dipping makeup brush in the powder and tapping. So gently buff on the face to provide uniform covering.

Skin type- good and better for oily skin

Pressed Powder Foundation- To provide so smooth touch up to foundation pressed powder are available in a number of shades. These are found in compact forms and applied by dry or damp sponge.

Dry application in quit light coverage…..for better coverage apply with slightly moistened natural sponge….

Skin Type- Suits for all type of skin such kind oily, dry, combination skin. However it is so best for oily skin truly.

                      Waterproof Foundation

In hot summer these water proof makeup too much demand-able. Also preferable in rainy and humid seasons, moreover one tends to sweat more in this terms water proof is really applicable. Like this in rainy seasons it is not safe to wear any other makeup or other foundation, which can easily and quickly whip away from the skin. Only rescue media is water proof makeup, it has water resistant capability. Availability in liquid and cream forms and leaves a very fresh touch on the skin.

Skin type- These foundation are suited for all combination of skin. ones who have oily skin should prefer oil free liquid and dry skin should choice a cream one.

 Mineral makeup- Far preferable who have sensitive skin

Spray Foundation

These foundation work like a pray to the people who need long time manageable makeup. Makeups do not fade after applied it services for long hours. It provides refreshment to the makeup after once sprayed over the face. So it is easy to apply and available in number of shades.

Skin Type- Most preferable for sensitive skin.

Cream to Powder Foundation/ Liquid to Powder Foundation

  These type foundation is available in compact forms resembling to powder. Applied on the skin or face as liquid/cream and offer a powder finish. Provide smooth and flawless coverage to the face due to fast drying.

Skin type- Suits for the women with a combination/ normal skin.

Mousse/ Whipped Foundation

Mousse is a liquid/cream foundation, apply in thin layers all over the skin.

Skin Type- Can be prefer for all skin type but do great work with dry or an aging skin.
