Synthetic Makeup Brush-
Man made synthetic brush either made of nylon or polyester filaments. They have good ability to pick color. Often, synthetic brushes are dyed & baked to make them softer & more absorbent. Most common filament is talon & nylon. Merits- Synthetic brushes are less prone to damage from makeup & solvents. Easier to keep clean than natural brushes due to the filaments, don’t trap or absorb pigment. They are better & preferable for soft layering of powder color or cream color & concealer. Hair provides a smooth & finish for cream products.
Natural Makeup Brushes-
There is so many types like- Squirrel, Badger, Pony & kolinsky. Natural bristles are used for layering of color with a variety of touches from very soft (squirrel) to firm (badger).
Natural hair of brush is softer but synthetic hair become stiff.
